Opus Records was created by Brendon "Low B" Bjorness-Murano in 2005 when he returned to RI from California to basically give an umbrella name to connect the fan base between his multiple, multi-genered projects that both he and his fellow band mates were in. These bands included Funk Nugget, The Law, Broken Ground, 90Sevan, Low B & the Daily Blotter, Spaceships in the Jungle, The Beat Drops, The Phreaks and basically all other projects he was in, minus those involved with Big Bang Records, the former Record Company that he managed out of Boston, MA.
Since then, Opus Records has become more than just an umbrella name for Low B's projects. Now, Opus Records takes on an array of different artists and Records, Edits, Mixes, Produces, Masters and Duplicates albums for them and gets them up and running in the right direction regardless of genere. These artists include full on rock bands such as "The Attic" to underground and mainstream Hip Hop acts such as "Saint", "Louie J." and "Braveheart" to solo acoustic folk acts and everything in between.
While all artists may not be "labeled as Opus Record artists", the same amount of attention to detail is given to all projects taken on. Weather it is with recording, bookings or artist development, Opus Records holds all clients on a very high pedistal. Every aspect of our hired duties is more than welcomed to be over seen by every client and questions are always welcomed.
